For some of us, a happy meal is a hearty meal that fills both the stomach and the soul. Non-vegetarian food is abundant in Indian cuisine. Each region of the Indian subcontinent has its own flavour profile and spices used to prepare non-vegetarian dishes. We have listed some of the famous non-vegetarian plates served at Tabla Indian Restaurant, one of Orlando's best restaurants.
TABLA'S MIXED BIRYANI
Biryani is well-known throughout India and even internationally. It was the royal dish of the Mughals, and it was generally made with chicken or mutton.
Biryani is a dish that contains a wide range of flavors. Many tourists travel to India solely to sample this cuisine because Biryani is also considered one of India's spiciest foods. The Tabla Mixed Biryani is prepared by marinating Chicken, Lamb, and Shrimp in rich Indian spices and then layered with pre-boiled rice, herbs, saffron, and ghee.
BUTTER CHICKEN
Butter Chicken, like Chicken Tikka Masala, is one of the most popular curries in any Indian restaurant around the globe. You must try these aromatic golden chicken pieces in an incredible creamy curry sauce. Tomatoes, onions,
cashews, and Indian herbs are used to make the rich, buttery chicken gravy. The grilled chicken pieces are then mixed well in the curry, making it delicious to eat. Butter chicken is a popular dish served with naan, kulcha, or rotis worldwide.
FISH PAKORAS
Many Indians enjoy crispy fish fritters. The ginger and garlic flavors in this meal are distinct and excellent. The fish is lightly battered and then deep-fried in hot oil with chickpea flour and Indian spices. Tabla Indian Restaurant serves authentic fish pakoras with flavorful green chutney and other Indian seafood dishes.
COCONUT CURRY SHRIMP
This Coconut Shrimp Curry is delicious and creamy. This Indian shrimp stew is filled with fragrant spices and served over rice with cilantro and lime wedges.
LAMB VINDALOO
Lamb marinated in chilies, garlic, vinegar, and other spices is cooked in this classic Goan curry. The sauce is a dark crimson hue with a delicate spicy, and creamy texture. Pav and rice go well with lamb vindaloo.
CHICKEN TIKKA
Chicken tikka masala is a meal made out of marinated boneless chicken pieces cooked in a tandoor and served with a mildly spiced tomato-cream sauce. Butter chicken, a popular dish in northern India, is most likely the same. Chicken tikka masala has been dubbed the first widely recognized example of fusion cuisine by some.
KEEMA NAAN
These naans are light and fluffy, with a delicious spiced minced lamb filling inside. Keema Naan is Tabla's chef's signature recipe. Even though the dough for most types of naans is similar, chefs have their own secret stuffing recipe called Keema, which is ground lamb or goat cooked with aromatics and Indian spices.
ROGAN JOSH
The thick, delicious crimson sauce and delicate beef separate Rogan josh from other Indian curries. "Rogan" in Persian means clarified butter or oil, or "red" in Hindi, and "josh" in Hindi means fiery or hot. Therefore, this meal is all about cooking in an oil-based sauce with intense heat. Despite its vibrant red color, it is usually not a spicy curry. Rogan josh is a popular dish in India and on the menus of Indian restaurants.
